E-Type Front Derailleur - A front derailleur that is secured to the bicycle via the bottom bracket shell, rather than being clamped to the seat tube.
Eccentric - A type of bottom bracket shell that isn't a perfect circle. Used on some tandems and singlespeed bicycles.
Elastomer - A springy plastic shock absorber used in suspension systems.
Elliptical Chainwheel -
Ergo, Ergopower - A combination brake/shift lever ("brifter") for drop handlebars made by Campagnolo. Similar to Shimano STI brifters, but with a different lever setup.
Erickson Gizzmo - A gadget that will turn a double Shimano STI front shifter into a triple, so it will work with a triple chainring setup.
Euro Bottom Bracket -
Ferrule - A plastic or metal fitting that slides onto the end of cable housing so it fits snugly in place in a cable stop.
